In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxQUT where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxQUT event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

TEDxQUT is passionate about creating a platform for QUT Students, Staff, Alumni and the wider community to share ideas that encourage curiosity, creativity, and connectedness and ultimately create a positive impact in our world.

We recognise that this land has always been a place of learning and sharing. We are privileged to gather on Turrbal and Yuggera land to continue the First Nations traditions of sharing stories and ideas.
