We’re looking for ideas that invite us to see ourselves, each other, or the world around us a little differently. What helps us understand one another, be seen, and let’s us imagine where we’re going? What could help us start a conversation that matters, or give us hope? Wherever your idea begins, we’d love to hear where it could take us.

Become a TEDxQUT NextGen Thinker
TEDxQUT is opening the stage to QUT undergraduate students for a special One-Minute Pitch during our 2027 event.
This is your chance to step onto the TEDxQUT stage and share an idea, perspective, question or insight that you think could make people see the world a little differently.
You'll have just 60 seconds to make your case. No slides. No lengthy preparation. Just you, your idea and one minute to make us think. It doesn't need to be a fully formed TEDx talk. We're interested in the spark of an idea, and we'll help you develop it!
